Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces. This position requires a strong commitment to providing excellent service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens. Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed. Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed to uphold health and safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences with professionalism. Assist in organizing and managing housekeeping supplies and inventory. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Handle any special requests or additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus. Strong understanding of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Experience in cooking is desirable but not mandatory. Familiarity with housekeeping management principles is an advantage. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
