Duty Manager / Housekeeping - Live In

Key Responsibilities:

- be on duty to 'check in' and 'check out' hotel guests

- be on call overnight in case of emergencies

- be able to work split shifts

- manage all supplier orders and receive and check deliveries

- a hands on role to clean external and public areas each day to a set standard. To clean and assist housekeepers with bedrooms as required

- deliver and co-ordinate the housekeeping provision and effectively manage the arrivals into serviced rooms

- deal with and communicate any customer issues

- maintain the safety and security of the hotel by making sure that correct health and safety procedures are adhered to on a day to day basis and in the event of an emergency

- complete all routine maintenance functions and ensure all bigger issues are reported and recorded

- ensure that all facilities are working

- any other tasks that are required of you

The right candidate will:

- have a friendly and calm attitude when working under pressure

- have previous experience in a housekeeping role

- be able to work independently and as part of a team
