We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This position is essential in supporting the overall hospitality experience, particularly within a hotel setting.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.
Assist guests with luggage and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
Ensure that all equipment and furnishings are well-maintained and in good condition.
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the premises.
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality industry.
