The
Housekeeping Porter
plays a key supportive role to the Housekeeping Department ensuring the team are prepared to deliver the exceptional levels of cleanliness, service, and presentation to our guests. All tasks will have a guest centric focus and you will play a key part in and for our guests.
Your Key Responsibilities:
You will be involved with all aspects of the housekeeping department conducting cleaning, and housekeeping delivery tasks, whilst consistently following the luxury standards set out by SCHLOSS Roxburghe to ensure the best quality for our guests;
Be responsible for the count of linen and stock control, reporting any discrepancies to the Executive Head Housekeeper
Keeping service and linen areas and housekeeping cupboards tidy and well stocked
Ensure that all cots, extra beds, fans are clean and stored tidily
You will ensure that the furniture, equipment, and appliances are in clean and flawless condition
You will interact with all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, looking to exceed their expectations
You will bring your experience to identify and contribute innovative and practical ways to improve the overall quality and process within the department
To report any faults or broken items to Housekeeping management
You will ensure that all compliance, COSHH, and Health & Safety procedures are followed
Ensure that all procedures concerning guest safety are followed including but not limited to, lost property, key control, and confidentiality
You will take pride in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all guest areas
You will assist the Housekeeping Management team with any ad hoc duties or requests when necessary.

You have a key eye for detail and take pride in your work

You have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
Proven Experience/Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Full and clean driving licence is essential
Ability to communicate proficiently in English
