The Bull Freehouse which opened in 2021 is one of the St Edmundsbury area's best local venues, serving beautifully cooked, locally sourced, seasonal produce in a relaxed, cosy space. Following our success in the local market, in 2023 we opened seven super-luxe guest bedrooms in a property located 35 yards from The Bull Freehouse, called The Pear Tree Inn.

Not long after its opening it was awarded 5 gold stars from The AA, making it one of only two properties in Suffolk to hold this accolade.

we are recruiting for a housekeeper to take on the day to day cleaning duties of the property as our current (amazing) housekeeper has decided to retire after being with us for the last 2 years.

This is a really fulfilling role for someone who already has experience of housekeeping in high end properties - you will manage your own time/rota and have full autonomy in your role. The property is open 6 days a week with most reservations at weekends during the colder months.

We have 7 ensuite bedrooms to look after, all of which have been built to the highest specifications.

We are looking for someone who is super reliable & has a great eye for detail. This person will also not be scared to take the initiative and problem solve on the go! In return we offer a great hourly rate of pay and plenty of flexibility working within a small family orientated team.

There will be a handover period with our current housekeeper so our new housekeeper can get a good feel for the business.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.00-15.50 per hour
