Housekeeping

Supervisor

supports the Residential Services Director and Housekeeping Manager in ensuring the overall operation runs smoothly and while on shift the day-to-day running of the department. Offering team members guidance and support to ensure they can fulfil their individual tasks with a clear focus on delivering exceptional service while maintaining the efficiency and quality that will ensure the high standards associated with the club are achieved.

Residential Services are a close-nit twenty-four-hour operation whose goal is to maintain the luxury standards associated with a Discovery Land Club. The team strive on a daily basis to achieve continuity of service for our members and their visiting guests at their 'home from home' through a real can do and positive attitude and a desire to create long lasting and memorable experiences.



Guiding and training our formidable team of Housekeeping Assistants through planned and regular development set out in the training calendar; ensuring that each individual has a thorough understanding of their role and the tasks they need to perform and the responsibility they hold to ensure that a consistent service is delivered.



Assigning areas to the team whether it be within the castle or in members' homes or at various locations throughout the estate. Ensuring that appropriate coverage is in place according to the demands and requirements of each area. Conducting daily shift briefings and leading on monthly meetings with a proactive approach, continually striving to develop and train; ensuring the team maintain their high standards of attention to detail.



Reviewing and checking each suite, home and area of the Castle to ensure it is refreshed, carefully checking the standards of cleanliness and presentation; before, during and at the hand-over stage of each shift. Carefully managing and taking a genuine interest in any special projects or maintenance issues throughout the estate. Coordinating and following up on those to ensure the work is being completed in a timely manner.



Ensure that all members and their guests are responded to promptly, any requests or queries they may have are effectively actioned and completed positively and professionally by the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous experience of working within a Hotel Housekeeping team or within Residential Services or similar. Where organisation, people management and attention to detail have all been part of your day-to-day encompassing various responsibilities all aimed at running a smooth operation of high standards, cleanliness and service quality.



Although previous experience within a similar role would be an advantage, we need highly motivated team players who take huge pride in their work and are passionate about delivering the high standards associated with Taymouth Castle Golf and Sport Club. Warm natured, approachable with excellent communication, organisation and a can-do attitude are all prerequisites for this exciting and challenging opportunity.



This role may require travel around some of the facilities within the estate so a valid UK Driving License will be essential to fulfil this opportunity.
