A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPER AT OUR HOTEL
What you'll be doing...
Lead and support the housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and public areas are consistently spotless, welcoming, and guest-ready.
Oversee daily cleaning operations, assigning tasks and priorities to keep standards high and shifts running smoothly.
Inspect guest rooms and public spaces with a sharp eye for detail, ensuring every space meets our quality and cleanliness expectations.
Train, coach, and motivate team members, helping them grow their skills and take pride in their work.
Manage linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies, making sure stock levels are maintained and rooms are fully equipped.
Report and follow up on maintenance issues, missing items, or safety concerns to keep the hotel in top condition.
Ensure all health, safety, and cleanliness standards are followed, promoting a safe environment for guests and team members.
Support with special requests or busy periods, leading by example and stepping in when needed.
Work closely with the front desk, maintenance, and management teams to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
A strong eye for detail and a commitment to exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
Previous housekeeping experience, with the confidence to lead, support, and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills to coordinate tasks and respond to guest and team needs.
A calm, solution-focused approach, even during busy or high-pressure shifts.
A positive, hands-on leader who's flexible, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile.
