We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, particularly within the hotel sector, and will be responsible for leading a team of housekeepers to maintain a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices and company policies. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across the hotel. Implement health and safety protocols within the housekeeping department to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or hotel industry is essential. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in housekeeping operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional attention to detail with strong organisational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required. Proficient in using housekeeping management software is advantageous.
