Responsibilities

Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness. Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Address guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a positive guest experience. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities with overall hotel operations. Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel or hospitality industry is highly desirable. Strong understanding of housekeeping procedures and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proven leadership abilities with experience in training and developing team members. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.
