Here at Marillac Neurological Care Centre we are looking a new housekeeping supervisor. The right candidate must have prior supervisory experience and be able to work full time.

The normal working pattern will be Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend.

We are not able to offer sponsorship of any kind. As we require candidates who can work 37.5 hours per week we will unfortunately not progress with Students or Candidates sponsored by another company.

Job Purpose:

To supervise the housekeeping team and ensure compliance with CQC standards, to provide an effective and efficient housekeeping service that supports and enhances quality of care for the environment of our residents, staff, volunteers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the home are cleaned to the highest standards and in accordance with the planned cleaning / laundry schedule and infection control guidance. Ensure the housekeeping team provide a homely, clean and hygienic environment for residents and their families by motivating the team and resolving any issues for them that occur. Ensure that each resident is always treated with respect and dignity, especially when you or a member of your team are lone working with residents in their bedrooms, understanding that our residents are vulnerable, and their rooms are their only personal space. To be responsible for scheduling rotas for all housekeeping staff. Manage the ordering of supplies of cleaning equipment and ensure records are kept up to date and accurate.

Requirements:

Supervisory experience Housekeeping experience Must have the ability to carry out manual handling activities, which require frequent and moderate physical effort during each shift

Successful employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Check from the Disclosure & Barring Service carried out by the MNCC as well as, a full right to work in the UK, 2 satisfactory references and a full Occupational Health check.

Pay: 13.14 per hour
