Are you a fan of routine and class yourself as a bit of a 'clean-freak'..? Are you currently an experienced housekeeper looking for a new challenge..? We need someone to support our Head Housekeeper to lead our excellent team

on a fixed term basis (9 months contract),

keeping all aspects of the housekeeping department running smoothly. You'll be capable of managing the day-to-day departmental operation including ensuring we are properly staffed and supervised as required, and that all rooms are cleaned according to the expected company standards, guaranteeing maximum comfort to our guests. NOTE: we are ideally looking for someone to join the team on a 32 hours per week contract to be worked over 4 days for the next 9 months....

As Housekeeping Supervisor (Fixed-Term Contract) for the hotel, your main duties will be:

- Making sure the quality of our housekeeping services are always superb: we have standards - but it's down to you and the team to make the rooms and public areas look their best for our guests

- Managing day-to-day staffing needs, planning and assigning work to team members fairly

- Supporting with routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, rooms, equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction

- Supporting the development of the team and improving their performance through coaching and feedback, identifying good performance and recognising it as required

- Being ready to support the Duty Manager rota as required

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping position

- Attention to detail and & a team-working champion!

- It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important

- The ability to supervise a team with a 'leading from the front' approach
