Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance standards within our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a background in hospitality or janitorial services. Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the hotel. Lead, motivate, and support housekeeping staff, fostering a positive team environment. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with company standards. Organise staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimise efficiency. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, health and safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment. Address guest requests or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event preparations.

Requirements

Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial services is essential. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices in cleanliness and safety. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including weekends or holidays if necessary. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail. Candidates with previous hotel experience, hospitality background, or janitorial expertise will be highly regarded.
