Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a hands-on approach to leading staff and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.

Working 5 days a week 7/9am - 3 /4pm

Good rate of pay (13.50 per hour) plus share of Tips

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operation and adherence to quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning techniques. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless operations within the hotel.

Requirements

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment is essential. Strong background in housekeeping operations is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to lead by example, fostering a positive team environment while motivating staff to achieve their best performance. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by the hotel's operational needs.
