Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you are part of a team responsible for the maintenance of cabins and the close monitoring of cleanliness and standards aboard the train. In this role, you will lead by example to ensure a level of service that exceeds customers' expectations. Primary Responsibilities Include:

This is a seasonal role which runs from March to November in 2026. Monitoring team members' effectiveness and implementing corrective action where required. Providing team members with correct equipment to enable them to undertake their roles successfully. Closely monitoring cleanliness and standards in cabins and public areas. Housekeepers tidy and clean cabins four times a day. Ordering linen and chemicals according to budget, ensuring stock is kept up to date. Ensuring the correct reporting of any maintenance issues and compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

What You Bring:

Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry. Relevant management or field/industry related diploma or degree. Leadership skills and experience in managing a team. Experience in fixing tears, repairing seams and performing alterations of garments. Proven organisational and strong administration skills.
