Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests experience a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, replenishing supplies as necessary. Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and dining spaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift, including lifting and moving items as needed.
