About the Role:


As a Housekeeper, you will be the heartbeat of our venue's daily operation. You'll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming, pristine environment for our wedding couples and their guests. From cleaning our luxurious bedrooms after guests depart to ensuring every corner of our historic buildings shines, your work will help bring our beautiful venues to life.


Key Responsibilities:

Guest Room Cleaning

: Refreshing and preparing guest rooms to the highest standards for each visitor.

Venue Preparation

: Helping prepare our spaces for weddings, ensuring each room and area is beautifully presented.

Building Maintenance

: Working with the team to maintain our historic venues, cleaning shared spaces and maintaining our grand interiors.

Guest Welcome

: Offering a warm welcome to all guests and couples, helping to create an inviting and unforgettable experience.

Country House Weddings offers six hand-picked wedding venues across Essex, Cambridgeshire, Warwickshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire. Each one chosen for its picturesque location, charming exterior, and opulent interiors, whether that be a Georgian Mansion, Tudor Manor or fairy-tale Castle.




Country House Weddings specialises in weddings, providing exclusive use of the venues to couples from midday to midnight on the day of the wedding, while also offering all-inclusive wedding packages to ensure a couple's wedding runs smoothly from start to finish. This includes, although not limited to, multiple wedding ceremony options per venue, a three-course wedding breakfast created by expert chefs who specialise in wedding catering, fully stocked bars, and an evening reception with buffet, DJ and disco. Each venue also boasts accommodation that can be added for overnight guests, as well as numerous grand reception rooms for couples and their guests to use throughout the wedding.

A former Royal Palace, Gosfield Hall boasts an extravagant ballroom, reception rooms and ample accommodation, as well as four ceremony including Queen Charlotte's Gallery and The Grand Salon.
