Overview

The Inn at Kingsbarns is centrally located in the beautiful village of Kingsbarns on the East Neuk of Fife ( 6 miles from St Andrews ) The Inn currently offers 6 luxury bedrooms, a sixteen seat restaurant, outdoor garden seating and a small bar.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order in hospitality environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in hotels or janitorial services is highly desirable, as you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all public areas are clean and well-maintained, including hallways, corridors, and restrooms. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and presentable. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain health and safety standards. Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring that all items are cleaned and folded properly. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.

Qualifications

Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred. Familiarity with janitorial practices and cleaning equipment is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
