Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hotel or hospitality industry, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the reputation of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of holiday lets. Dust, polish, and sanitise surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the premises. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and well-presented. Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Assist with special cleaning projects as required by management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cleaning role within the hotel or hospitality sector is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and staff alike. Must be able to drive between jobs.
