Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Horticultural Assistant to support the smooth operation of our plant department focussing in on houseplants. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. This role is vital in ensuring that daily tasks are completed efficiently and that our customer experience the best possible visit whilst having the opportunity to purchase the best quality plants.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of plant quality Supporting the department ensuring the correct stock levels. Delivering the highest customer service

Requirements

This candidate needs to be passionate about plants and willing to learn the world of houseplants to help our customers make informed purchases. Retail experience would be ideal, but a background in plants would be equally as valuable.
This is a great opportunity to join our team here at World's End Garden Centre, Blue Diamond, and establish the houseplant department that is scheduled to open on July 25th. We are going to have an amazing offering for our customers and need an amazing team to deliver the experience, apply if this is you.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
