As part of an
exciting expansion within our Housing Department
, we're looking for a dedicated and customer-focused
Housing Advisor
to join the team at
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) -
The successful candidate is expected to join us in January 2026.
This new role reflects our ongoing investment in delivering excellent housing services for our residents across Wythenshawe. We'll also be advertising a number of other roles within the department -- so if this opportunity isn't quite right for you, there may be another that's a perfect fit!
About the Role
As a Housing Advisor, you'll be the friendly and professional first point of contact for customers -- whether that's in person, over the phone, or online. You'll provide advice and support on a wide range of housing enquiries, helping residents access the right services quickly and effectively.
You'll also play an important role behind the scenes, providing administrative support to the Housing Services teams and helping ensure our systems, communications and records are always up to date and accurate.

What You'll Be Doing
Providing excellent customer service and first-line support for housing enquiries
Giving accurate advice and signposting to help residents access the right services
Supporting the Housing Services teams with administration, data entry, and record management
Helping with tenancy and estate management tasks such as allocations, tenancy changes, and garden enforcement
Triaging and logging anti-social behaviour (ASB) enquiries in line with procedures
Assisting customers to use digital services and complete applications online
Keeping accurate records and preparing reports to support performance monitoring
What We're Looking For
Experience working in a customer service or administrative role
Basic understanding of housing or tenancy management (desirable but not essential)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to handle enquiries professionally and work under pressure
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing-related systems
A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teamwork
Commitment to confidentiality, equality, and excellent customer care
