Housing Coordinator

to join the team on a

6 month fixed term contract

.


This role is all about creating a seamless and positive experience for our customers - from their first enquiry to the end of their tenancy. You'll be the friendly face (and voice!) of Yorkshire Housing, helping customers navigate everything from property marketing and tenancy changes to mutual exchanges and general housing queries.

What you'll be doing:



Acting as a single point of contact for customers, providing a personable and helpful service. You'll do this via various channels and be responsible for this workload and the various channels enquiries come through. Supporting customers through the pre-tenancy and onboarding process. Managing tenancy change requests, mutual exchanges, and end-of-tenancy coordination. Accurately and efficiently manage the shortlisting and allocation process. By vetting customers and liaising with third parties directly. Creating engaging property adverts and marketing homes across digital platforms. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure customers get the right support at the right time. Processing housing register applications and understanding eligibility policies on behalf of local authorities.

What we're looking for:



A customer-obsessed mindset with a passion for helping others. Strong communication and organisational skills. Confidence using digital tools and social media to connect with customers. A can-do attitude and a drive to continuously improve. Multitasking and time management skills in line with SLAs and deadlines. Experience in social housing or customer service would be a bonus - but not essential.

This a full-time opportunity for a

6 month fixed term contract

with a salary of

26,509.29

, for a 35 hour week plus 26 days annual leave (rising annually to 31 days) plus Bank Holidays.
