Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer - London Local Authority - Hybrid - Full Time
Venn Group is working with a dynamic and forward-thinking local authority in London in their search for a Housing Litigation Lawyer with a focus on Anti-Social Behaviour on a locum basis for an initial 3-month role.
Details:

Job Title: Housing Lawyer (Anti-Social Behaviour)
Hourly Rate: Up to 55 umbrella per hour (depending on experience) - flexible for the right candidate
Length of Contract: 3 months initially with high possibility for further extension
Working Pattern: Full-time - 36 hours per week
Location: Local Authority in London
Office Attendance: 1 day per week required - remote working considered

Duties/Responsibilities:
This role will include, but is not limited to:

Preparing and conducting legal proceedings relating to housing and tenancy enforcement
Advising officers and stakeholders on housing litigation and anti-social behaviour matters
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, notices, and court pleadings
Working closely with housing officers, enforcement teams, and external stakeholders to deliver effective case outcomes

Preferred experience:

Strong knowledge of housing and anti-social behaviour law within a local authority setting
Experience managing a caseload of litigation matters, including possession claims and injunctions
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams
Previous local government experience
