Housing Litigation Paralegal


Location: Hybrid - homeworking with time spent in our Bradford office

Salary: 34,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full-time


We're looking for a Housing Litigation Paralegal to join our in-house Legal team at Anchor, England's largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for older people.


In this role, you'll provide vital support to the Head of Litigation & wider Housing Litigation Team, helping to manage and progress a varied caseload, prepare legal documents and offer practical advice to colleagues across the organisation. You'll play a key part in ensuring we maintain efficient and effective legal services that support our housing management and customer experience.


What you'll be doing




Assisting with the preparation and administration of housing litigation cases (including possession, injunction and debt matters) Drafting correspondence and legal documents such as Housing Notices and Court Pleadings Providing advice to colleagues on housing management and landlord & tenant issues Carrying out legal research and preparing briefings Supporting with case management and maintaining compliance with court deadlines Liaising with external advocates and keeping colleagues updated on progress

What you'll bring




Experience in housing law and litigation, ideally within the social housing sector Knowledge of landlord and tenant law, housing management, and civil litigation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive and collaborative approach to work A law degree (preferred)
