Post No. POSN003676 - Housing Maintenance & Compliance Officer
The Private Sector Initiatives team are looking for a motivated, friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team ensure our facilities are well-maintained and fully compliant with all relevant regulations. This is a key role that supports the safety, efficiency, and quality of our property portfolio.
As part of your responsibilities, you will inspect properties annually, every six months, and whenever occupiers change. You'll oversee both routine and emergency maintenance tasks, monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, and conduct regular inspections to maintain accurate records.
You'll also work closely with the acquisitions team to support the onboarding of new properties, collaborating with internal teams to implement best practices and maintain a safe, efficient working environment
We're seeking someone with strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and compliance frameworks, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. A commitment to safety and attention to detail are essential.

Role Location - based in Newport city centre, with the opportunity for some hybrid office/home working.
