Your new role
We're looking for a qualified legal adviser to undertake the role of Housing Management Lawyer within our Legal team. This is a twelve month fixed term role.
You'll be a high-achieving individual, capable of managing your own caseload and making decisions to support our day to day operations. You'lll work alongside the Head of Legal and provide housing management and litigation services, including where appropriate training.
You'll be a qualified housing solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with up to 5 years PQE and have expert level experience of providing advice and interpreting legal issues in relation to the housing sector and be specialist in this area of legal practice.
We're looking for someone who is confident, with sound judgement and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
You'll be working either from our Eastleigh office (SO50 6AD), Bracknell office (RG12 1RF) or our Yeovil office (BA22 8WN) a minimum of three days per week to connect and collaborate with colleagues and the other two days can be worked from at a place of your choosing whether that's at another of our offices, a cafe or at home.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated and looking for a new challenge to work in a varied role. You will work alongside and support other legal professionals as part of new team and you will lead the housing management practice, working on complex housing related matters, including but not limited to, anti-social behaviour, housing management, disrepair, leasehold management and income management.
The role is at the heart of the business, offering advice and guidance in a hardworking and fast-paced environment. You will be expected to be a team player, willing to contribute to challenges and questions, as well as play your part in adding value and improving the services we provide.
