Are you an experienced Housing Officer looking for a new role? If so, please keep reading.
As a Housing Officer you'll be working across Greater London on a dispersed patch of agency managed and covering some general needs properties. You will be responsible for delivering a successful housing and tenancy management service.
You will ensure there is a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service, whilst effectively supporting your customers who will have varying and diverse needs.
On a day to day basis you may find yourself -

• Liaising with agents onsite.

• Customer focused, working with residents in the community.

• Working collaboratively with other teams, safer neighbourhood teams and external stakeholders.

• Investigating and actioning tenancy breaches, undertaking the necessary action to enforce the terms & conditions of the tenancy agreement.

• Attending court / undertaking evictions.

• Conducting viewings and sign ups.

• Delivering a programme of property / estate inspections, prioritising FRA / H&S actions.

About you
You will come to the role with a CIH or equivalent housing qualification or significant housing management experience. You will have experience of housing management.
You'll have a proven track record of dealing with challenging situations, taking into account a broad range of customer needs.
You will be very aware of current housing issues and practice, housing law, regulations with knowledge of leasehold and shared ownership management.
You will be confident in your communication style, able to adapt it to suit the needs of your customers.
You will have strong IT skills and have previous experience of using CRMS.
The role will require you to travel throughout the patch, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes would be desirable.
When not out and about in the community you'll be able to base yourself from home or the office whichever suits you. Ideal candidates will be based in the Greater London area.
