About the Role




We are excited to announce an opening for a Housing Stores Team Member to join our dynamic Housing Production Team. In this role you will be responsible for all parts and components in preparation for the manufacture of finished housings. Your key responsibilities will include:

Accurately pick, issue, and move kits of parts for manufacturing according to schedule

Maintain stock accuracy through location control, traceability, regular stock checks, and rotation.

Identify and report non-conformances such as damaged goods.

Ensure timely stock put-away and efficient use of the traceability system.

Safely load goods for delivery and manage local deliveries and collections, ensuring correct documentation and part accuracy.

Operate vehicles (up to 3.5 tonnes) and assist with forklift operations across departments.

Conduct basic vehicle and forklift maintenance checks.

Support continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a talented and experienced individual who finds this role both challenging and rewarding. The ideal candidate will have:


Essential:

Demonstrable experience of working manufacturing stores environment Stock management experience (i.e. booking in and out of parts) Experience of strapping and securing loads Ability to use ERP/MRP systems Full clean driving licence Basic understanding of IT Software i.e. Word, Outlook, work schedules Ability to be flexible around business driving requirements
Desirable:

Forklift licence (Counterbalance) Experience of working to ISO9001 standards
