The Benjamin Foundation is proud to deliver 'Future Builders' for young people aged 16-25 years in partnership with the Ovo Foundation and End Youth Homelessness.
Future Builders in an innovative project providing an opportunity for young people to apply learned construction skills in the renovation of housing that is then available to young people to live in.
We are seeking a Housing & Support Worker to support young people living in the refurbished properties by providing advocacy and support in developing skills for living independently and sustaining a tenancy successfully
Main Duties:
Work alongside End Youth Homelessness (EYH), TBF colleagues and Managers in contributing to the efficient and effective running of the service
Show commitment to using Restorative Practice, the Nurtured Heart Approach and Signs of Safety
Maintain good professional practice working in accordance with the service's policies and procedures, statutory and legislative requirements, including health & safety and risk assessments
Represent the service to outside agencies and community groups where required. Maintaining relationships with key agencies to high standards at all time and ensure compliance with the statutory frameworks they work within
