HR Admin

12-month maternity cover - \xc2\xa327k + all travel expensed

Home working supported with occasional need to be in the office

Early-mid September start

My client is an IT solutions and services provider looking for an HR Administrator to provide maternity cover for 12 months. With offices in Farringdon and Windsor, there are no set days to work from the office, but once a month or so there are \'HR days\' that are office-based. Any days worked from the office, all travel can be expensed.

They are looking for an HR Admin to join their HR Team. Whilst being a fundamental part of the team, this also offers an opportunity to gain invaluable exposure to a busy and fun HR function with responsibilities reaching across a true generalist remit.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO;

  • Be the first point of contact for employees with HR-related queries. Proactively man
the HR Inbox and deal with all manner of enquiries, applying your own judgement or speaking

to the relevant HR team member for direction.
  • Understand and action all the subsequent processes after employee changes are confirmed,
including creating paperwork, maintaining organisational charts and the HR Teams weekly

report.
  • The company is currently in the process of moving from one HRIS, Cascade to a new HRIS,
Workday therefore, you will be responsible for data inputting into both systems and running

reports.
  • Manage employee electronic personnel files.
  • Complete new starter administration as required, including issuing contracts, offer letters,
referencing and collecting right-to-work documentation.
  • Complete leaver and employee changes administration as required, sending letters and
  • overseeing the flow of information through the business to other departments such as IT.
  • Complete all other employee-related admin, such as references, swiftly and accurately.
  • Complete the admin required on the benefit portal to maintain staff benefits as a
when they are requested and ensure this is captured as part of the payroll process monthly.
  • Maintain the systems used to provide staff training and the Company\'s engagement survey tool.
  • Manage the issuing and processing of purchase orders and invoices for the HR team, tracking
accurately and managing the applicable finance systems on behalf of the team.
  • Manage the end-to-end employee probation process, communicate with line managers and
individuals effectively.
  • Organise induction process for all new starters, scheduling meetings and liaising with line
management
  • Take ownership with the payroll process. Produce HR/ payroll spreadsheet and reports that
facilitates the handover between HR & payroll each month.
  • Support with recruitment admin activity as required.
  • Provide ad hoc support to all HR team members with project work.
WHO YOU ARE;
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working as an HR Administrator, within professional services
  • Strong prioritisation and self-management / time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of Workday in an HR function would be advantageous, as would experience of payroll and / or recruitment within an HR function
