The opportunity

Due to the company\'s continuing growth, we require a HR Administrator to strengthen the existing HR team

Location Head office - Blackburn

Salary Starting salary of \xc2\xa323,000 - \xc2\xa325,000 per annum dependant on experience

About the role

As a result of successful company growth, we are looking for a HR Administrator to join our HR Team based at our Blackburn Head Office. As a HR Administrator at Vital Energi you will be responsible for providing accurate HR administrative support to the department and company on a daily basis whilst taking day to day direction from the Group Head of HR and Group HR Office & Payroll Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for employees by monitoring the HR inbox and responding to any HR-admin related queries
  • Ensuring that the HR employee database (Cezanne) is up to date and accurate
  • Assist the department by undertaking company pre-employment correspondence & checks for new starters; from ordering equipment, references, general communications and ensuring they are submitted to payroll for submitting
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date files, records and documentation ensuring that all filing for the department is carried out in accordance with our quality assurance policy and GDPR guidelines
  • Assisting the department with notification of any changes of terms and conditions, new starters, leavers etc to the Payroll Department on a monthly basis
  • Providing HR assistance to HR Management and the HR Team when required; covering periods of absence/ holidays
What you will need

Skills/Experience
  • GCSE\'s Grade C or 5 and above in Maths and English
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
  • Strong administration skills
  • Experience in using a HR/Administrative Database (Desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience within an administrative role
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards (Desirable)
