HR Administrator - (Inside IR35) Contract Term: 12 Months Contracting Authority: AWE Location: Aldermaston \xe2\x80\x93 Hybrid, 2 days in the office This role requires active SC CLEARANCE.

AWE plays a crucial role in national nuclear security. Their role in nuclear deterrence and their specialist technical assistance to nuclear threat reduction is vital in the defence against the most serious threats faced by the UK. As a HR Administrator, your main responsibilities would be to:

  • Maintain workload and case trackers to enable the reporting of service performance and identification of improvements.
  • Ensure the HR Information System is accurately updated and transactions are processed in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure all correspondence and documentation produced is accurate and in accordance with approved templates.
  • Deliver routine scheduled activities.
  • Support line managers, employees and candidates in the effective use of self-service HR technologies.
  • Escalate issues in accordance with the relevant escalation process in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain positive and professional working relationships with internal and external colleagues and customers, ensuring process hand-offs are properly executed.
  • Support ad hoc project work, Company and HR initiatives, providing administrative services and, on occasion, face to face support.
  • Assist in the testing and maintenance of the HRIS.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence and peak workload demands.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest changes to enhance services, systems or address issues and actively participate in process improvement activity.
  • Ensure HR related documentation (hard copy and electronic) is appropriately handled, managed and retained in compliance with data privacy regulations, including the archiving process; and ensure all correspondence and documentation produced is accurate, using approved templates.
  • Ensure local work instructions are followed to maintain process compliance and quality.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times and that the appropriate Company classifications are applied.
  • Maintain understanding of up to date employment regulations, applicable laws and Company policy.

Essential:
  • ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE
  • Administrative background
  • Deliver high quality, timely and accurate transactional HR services within SLA requirements.
  • Someone who is comfortable with being on the phone.
  • Deliver efficient and effective HR support to customers, providing first point of contact services through HRIS, telephone, email and walk-ins.
  • Computer literate \xe2\x80\x93 spreadsheets, workday, word and excel.
  • Recruitment background (Desirable)
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
  • Self-driven.
  • Well organised and good communication skills.
  • Relationship Building.
  • GDPR complaint background.
