Salary: 26,403 to 26,824 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Parkhouse, Carlisle
Contract: Temporary (6 months)
About this opportunity
We're recruiting for HR Administrators to join our fantastic Recruitment & DBS Administration team and actively play your part in helping candidates through our recruitment process from job offer to day one.
You will be involved in delivering the administration of recruitment, DBS checks and externally provided worker requirements. This will include:
Advertising jobs via the council website
Issuing candidate shortlisting communications
Preparing offer letters and employee contracts
Checking candidate references ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Verifying right-to-work checks and maintaining accurate records.
Processing new joiners onto our council systems.
Generating recruitment data and reports.
Covering the recruitment mailbox and phoneline, responding to general enquiries and escalating to colleagues, where appropriate.
Setting up, countersigning and processing DBS checks.
Processing externally-provided worker requests.
This role is available on fixed term until May 2026 basis.
