We're looking for a passionate, detail-driven
HR Adviser
to join our HR Services team. You'll manage a varied portfolio of work, providing expert advice and guidance across a full range of HR matters. This includes employee relations casework and leading on key lifecycle processes such as sickness absence management, immigration, and fixed-term contract reviews.
You'll play a vital role in delivering a progressive, inclusive and high-quality employment experience across the full employee journey from probation to retirement.
In this role, you'll:
Provide dedicated HR support to assigned areas of the University
Advise and coach managers and staff to resolve issues early and enhance employee experience
Lead on core HR processes and casework, ensuring fairness, consistency and compliance
Collaborate with colleagues across the HR department to support broader HR initiatives and projects
Contribute to continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making
We're seeking someone who:
Has HR experience in a large, complex organisation

Brings a proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
