Here at GXO, we're looking for a proactive and confident

HR Advisor

to join our dynamic HR team in

Alfreton

, supporting our

NHS Supply Chain

contract. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll be the go-to expert for all things

Employee Relations (ER),

helping managers navigate complex cases and drive positive outcomes.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working

Monday to Friday,

covering the hours of

09:00 till 17:00.

We understand that flexibility is important, so for the right candidate, we're happy to consider a reduction in weekly hours.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to

32,000

per annum, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

Lead and manage ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and flexible working requests Coach and train line managers to build confidence and capability in ER case handling Collaborate with the HR Operations Partner to identify trends and implement proactive solutions Support absence management through data analysis, Occupational Health liaison, and strategic initiatives Administer recruitment processes, contract changes, and onboarding activities Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to improving survey scores and workplace culture


What you need to succeed at GXO

:

CIPD Level 3

qualified (minimum) Strong experience in managing high-volume ER cases Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with

Trade Unions

Intermediate Excel skills (

Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, COUNT

) A flexible, organised, and customer-focused approach
