Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Advisor to join our HR Business Partner team at our Head Office in Kegworth. This is an exciting, newly created role where you will take ownership of key HR processes while driving colleague engagement, coaching managers, and supporting the delivery of our People Plan. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact across the Head Office, working within a collaborative team and helping shape a high-performing, innovative HR function.

About the Role:



Reporting into the HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor ensures transactional HR activity runs smoothly while also enabling delivery of the wider People Plan. The role combines operational excellence with colleague engagement, coaching, and continuous improvement in line with the business' values and behaviours.



As the HR Advisor, here are your key areas of focus:



Coach and support line managers on performance, conduct and attendance, ensuring fair and timely action. Champion colleague engagement and Head Office experience, ensuring colleague voice drives improvement. Support inclusive and efficient recruitment, onboarding and probation processes, informing retention through leaver insights. Deliver training and briefings to build leadership and HR process capability, fostering continuous learning. Provide accurate, compliant HR advice, promoting positive relationships, inclusion, diversity and wellbeing. Use HR data and KPIs to spot trends and support continuous improvement, compliance and audit requirements. Contribute to people projects (e.g., pay review, talent, engagement) and role model company values and behaviours.

About you



We are looking for someone with a proven background as a HR Advisor or in a comparable HR generalist role, with a sound and up-to-date understanding of key UK employment law and its practical application. The ideal candidate will be confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as HR databases. They should be able to communicate clearly, succinctly and professionally with different audiences. A CIPD qualification is beneficial, or progress towards it would be an advantage.
