Job Description

Jensten Group is looking for a dynamic, commercially minded HR Advisor to join our People Team.


In this role, you'll be a trusted partner to managers, providing expert guidance on employee relations and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies. You'll play a key role in delivering our people strategy, supporting business objectives, and fostering a high-performance culture. From coaching leaders to driving organisational development initiatives, you'll help create an environment where people can thrive and grow.


This role can be based in either our London or Huntingdon office on a hybrid working basis, and occasional travel to other UK locations will be required.

What You'll Do:



Build effective relationships with the senior management team, develop a deep understanding of our business and sector to effectively lead and support HR initiatives Advise managers on employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, performance management and absence management Support investigations and hearings, preparing documentation and attending meetings as required Support plans for organisational development including restructuring and the
implementation and harmonisation of acquired businesses
Analyse HR metrics and compare results to key performance indicators e.g. monthly absence, attrition and employee relations case data to shape HR initiatives Champion a high-performance culture by coaching leaders and ensuring employees have the support, skills, and resources they need to succeed Agree an engagement plan with the business that helps drive retention and improves key performance indicators Identify skills gaps and development needs in the business and deliver business
focused solutions to develop capability
Provide opportunities for people to learn and grow in the business through talent management, succession planning and review of competencies

About You




To thrive in this role, you'll bring confidence and expertise to complex ER matters, along with a solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential, as you'll work closely with managers to ensure fair and consistent outcomes. Ideally, you'll hold a CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or have equivalent experience, and you'll be passionate about fostering a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace culture.
