Essential Criteria

CIPD qualified or working towards, degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong interest in developing a career in HR within the construction or civil works sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently. Digitally savvy with an understanding of LMS, MS Teams, MS Office and other tools. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and operational support to HR Managers across the employee lifecycle, i.e. recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations Assist in recruitment and selection processes, ensuring compliance with procedures Coordinate and support HR events, including apprenticeship/ graduate programmes, university visits, career fairs, and assessment days Manage visa processes for Early Talents, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records Support onboarding and induction activities for new employees and interns Collaborate on HR projects related to diversity, inclusion, training, and school partnerships Liaise with HR Shared Services, the Learning and Development team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations Support and develop professional qualifications programmes, such as ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers) Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
