To provide HR support to all ComfortDelGro UK business units.
Main Responsibilities
Provide advice to all UK business units as required on issues such as attendance, capability issues, disciplinaries, flexible working etc.;
Undertake meetings such as investigations, grievances as required;
Provide cover for Head of Human Resources at meetings and/or during periods of annual leave;
Assist Head of Human Resources with complex employee relations cases/queries;
Assist company solicitor and work closely with HR Administrator with ECRs/ET claims;
Manage key relationships within the business, working closely with managers as well as building strong working relationships with the Trade Unions;
Prepare monthly HR Report;
Develop and co-ordinate Company policies and procedures, working with both Senior Managers and the Trade Unions;
Keep up to date with employment law to ensure that any advice given is accurate and relevant;
Undertake ad hoc projects as required;
Develop suite of standard letters and any other HR related document to ensure they are fit for purpose and in line with Company policies and procedures;
Co-ordinate performance management system ensuring annual and six monthly reviews are undertaken;
Take responsibility for own continuous personal development.

Essential Criteria
Demonstrable experience of providing HR advice to various levels of management across the spectrum of HR issues including absence, disciplinaries, grievances etc.;
CIPD Level 5 or working towards;
Discreet when managing confidential matters;
Excellent administrative skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
Ability to adapt to changing environments;
Able to effectively manage a demanding workload and multiple priorities;
Flexible with regards to working extra hours as and when required;
Experience of working within the transport industry (desirable);

Ability to collate and interpret statistical data.

38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
