Role Overview
This is a hands-on HR role supporting the UK team with operational and strategic HR tasks. You'll work closely with leadership and Group HR to ensure compliance, employee engagement, and smooth HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
HR Processes
Oversee monthly payroll, including P11Ds, P60s, and pension updates
Administer updates to personnel files and maintain accurate records
Ensure GDPR compliance and manage training logs and contract updates
Provide value-added reporting to support informed decision-making
Employee Relations
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters
Assist with promoting a respectful workplace culture
Deliver harassment awareness training and support wellbeing initiatives
Legal & Compliance
Lead policy reviews to ensure alignment with current UK legislation (e.g. flexible working, carer's leave, harassment prevention)
Interpret and apply HR policies and employment law in day-to-day operations
Ensure legal compliance across all HR practices
Performance & Development
Facilitate performance review processes and support PDP development
Coordinate management training and leadership development initiatives
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and growth
Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage recruitment processes from role scoping to onboarding
Support apprenticeships and training coordination
Ensure effective hiring aligned with business needs
Group HR Engagement
Collaborate with Group HR to align UK practices with global goals
Contribute to the integration of global HR initiatives
Systems & Communication
Support the rollout and integration of the employee intranet and Flow platform
Oversee operational HR tasks such as company car renewals and equipment tracking
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in UK HR operations (CIPD Level 5 or equivalent preferred)
Strong generalist knowledge across recruitment, employee relations, performance and development
Sound understanding of current UK employment law and HR best practice
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with HR systems and payroll processes
