Job Description

We are seeking a Band 5 HR Advisor to join our friendly and supportive HR team on a permanent contract, working 22.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job
To provide a focused HR service, ensuring that professional, proactive, comprehensive and effective HR advice and support is provided to linemanagers within a designated business groups throughout the Trust.To ensure that the service provided is consistent within defined quality standards and all relevant policies and procedures in order to ensure theHR strategy, objectives and key performance indicators are implemented effectively across the organisation.The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff andvolunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trust's policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns,communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level of experience

  • Possession of graduate membership of the CIPD or Equivalent experience
Knowledge

  • Good understanding of HR best practice and an up to date knowledge of employment legislation
  • Understanding of the importance & requirements of Data Protection and Confidentiality

  • Good knowledge of NHS terms and conditions of employment
Experience

  • Experience of dealing with HR issues across all aspects of employment relations practice.
  • Supporting and delivering management training and presentations
  • Previous experience of policy review, development and implementation
