The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to both employees and management across various HR functions. This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of HR best practices and employment law in the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities
Support the coordination and delivery of the
onboarding process
.
Support our Talent team with
recruitment administration
and
contract processing
.
Contribute to the delivery of
HR initiatives, policies and programmes
that support engagement, performance and retention.
Maintain accurate, confidential
HR records and systems
, ensuring GDPR and data protection compliance.
Lead and manage
employee relations (ER) cases
, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and attendance matters, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
Provide
expert ER advice and coaching
to managers, supporting documentation, decision-making and process adherence.
Support
performance and absence management
, including long-term sickness, occupational health referrals and improvement plans.
Advise on
restructuring and redundancy processes
, ensuring fair consultation and selection practices.
Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Deliver
ER and people-management training
to build manager capability and reduce risk.
Collaborate with HR colleagues on projects, reporting, trend analysis and continuous improvement.
Provide general
HR administrative support
as required.
Skills and Experience
Degree in
Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
.
Proven experience in an
HR Advisor or similar role
, ideally within a UK environment.
Strong working knowledge of
UK employment law
and
HR best practice
.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage
multiple priorities and deadlines
.
Trusted to handle sensitive information with
discretion and confidentiality
.
Confident user of
HR systems and MS Office
.
CIPD qualified or working towards accreditation
(desirable)
Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a
proactive and adaptable
approach.
