About the Role:
As an HR Advisor, you'll provide professional advice across a wide range of HR matters including:
Complex casework and policy guidance
Reward and recognition
Organisational change
Wellbeing initiatives
You'll build strong relationships with managers, helping them navigate challenges and deliver people solutions that add real value.
What We're Looking For:
It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:
Level 5 Intermediate CIPD or equivalent experience (Associate)
Good knowledge and understanding of employment law and its application with significant experience of HR case work
Ability to coach, support and advise line managers to perform their roles competently and achieve successful outcomes
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including the ability to produce and share information to help develop solutions or solve problems to mitigate risk.
Excellent level of interpersonal skills, able to maintain discretion and communicate professionally and tactfully
Excellent time management and planning and organisation skills
Able to implement changes in service provision and contribute ideas and innovative solutions to improve service delivery
Ability to travel as required to locations within Norfolk and Suffolk
It is desirable that applicants meet the following criteria:
Knowledge of the broader activities of the Police Service and working with Trade Unions
