A well-organised school in Southwark is looking for an experienced HR & administration officer to join their team on a temp basis. The school are offering the role as a contract basis initially, but are looking for a someone to support the team.


Please note we are only able to accept applications from administrators with a minimum of 1 years' experience working in a school office.

Job role

In this role you will work closely with the admin team, to support the effective management of school administrative systems, including monitoring and reviewing the school's systems and procedures. You will also undertake other professional duties, as delegated by the Headteacher.


As the school HR administration officer your role will include duties in all the following areas:

Recruitment and background checks Admissions Pupil attendance and punctuality Staff attendance Finance Data management Orders General administration

This SEN school is based in the borough of Camberwell with good local transport links. The school is well organised with a committed and driven leadership team who work closely with staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils. Alongside the teaching staff team, there is an established school administration team who ensure all aspects of the day to day running of the school are accurate and completely efficiently.

a minimum of 1 years' experience working in a school office be extremely organised in HR and have an understanding of recruitment a friendly and calm approach hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to obtain one
