JOB PURPOSE:


To assist in the provision of an efficient and effective HR business service to enjoyleisure


managed sports centres and the enjoyleisure management team.


MAIN DUTIES:


Facilitate the recruitment and onboarding portal (iTrent) to ensure the provision of effective recruitment and selection procedures.


Liaise with Payroll Managed Services and/or process iTrent changes on matters relating to employees financial remuneration, including appointments and terminations and changes in rates of pay, hours worked, holidays etc.


Administer statements of particulars, letters and related documents for all enjoyleisure employees through HR operating system processes.


Administer employee appointments, changes and terminations through HR operating system (iTrent).


Prepare payroll processing reports from time and attendance system (Planday) and review comparisons and exceptions from payroll reporting system following entry.


Maintain personal files for all employees through HR operating system.


Advise employees on conditions of service relating to their employment, as appropriate.


Advise Service Managers/Assistant Service Managers/Senior Managers on conditions of service, where appropriate and support as note taker at formal meetings.


Record and report on sickness absence statistics as required.


Participate in small projects or specialist areas of support work, where required.


Undertake such other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as directed by management.


Essential Requirements for this Role


Education:


Educated to Higher Level or SVQ Level 2 in English and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.


Disclosure Scotland:


This role requires Basic Disclosure clearance.

HNC/SVQ3 in Administration or equivalent.


Certificate in HR Practice.


Previous Experience
(Paid & Voluntary Work)


Previous experience of working an office environment.


Knowledge of Local Government Conditions of Service.


Experience of working in Local Government or charity sector.


Experience of using iTrent operating systems


Experience of using Planday time and attendance system.


HR experience.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Skilled user of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word and Excel.
