Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) are one of the largest care and support providers in the Scottish Borders and we are currently recruiting for an HR Assistant (21 hours per week).

As HR Assistant you will have responsibility for various human resources functions covering the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, HR administration and compliance. This role is crucial in supporting the HR team in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations within the organisation and enables a great development opportunity if you are keen to develop your career within HR.
Administration is a significant element of this post therefore the successful candidate should have excellent English grammar and writing skills to create clear, well-structured and written content as well as the ability to review and edit documentation written by others. Previous administration experience is essential, preferably within an HR function.
To be considered for the post of HR Assistant you will demonstrate sound experience and competence with the use of Microsoft 365 packages, possess excellent organisation and communication skills, and be a solution focused, personable, team player who is comfortable using their initiative.
It is strongly desirable that you have sound experience of, or a desire to develop in, the field of HR information systems.
