We now have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, the role has real life impact, in the position of HR Assistant. The Department of Clinical Neurosciences is a progressive academic research Department studying the nervous system to find new treatments for neurological disorders such as Dementia and Alzheimer\'s Disease. We also study neurosurgical topics, addressing care and patient support for those affected by traumatic brain injury and other disorders of the nervous system.

The HR Assistant will form a key part in the administrative day-to-day HR processes of the HR team working to provide timely, accurate and professional administrative support to the Department to facilitate the smooth operation of HR services.

Recent staff survey data showed that 84% of staff consider the Department to be a great place to work and this new post will support the existing HR Team whilst seeking to build on this reputation and enhance the positive working culture for all staff.

The role is based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and on confirmation of appointment, the successful candidate will adopt the Department\'s hybrid working model, consisting of days of work at home and days of work alongside other members of the Operations Team on site.
