JOB TITLE - HR Business Advisor / 8 Month FTC

DEPARTMENT HR

LOCATION - Fareham/Home Hybrid role.

WORKING HOURS - 8:30 - 4:30 with flexible working available.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an HR Business Advisor. This role is available due to business growth and support required for key projects. This is an exciting time for CooperVision as we navigate periods of positive change to support the business for the future.

Essential functions & responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees. Introduce and adapt corporate HR policies and initiatives.
  • Promote and support the company\'s performance management and development processes to encourage ongoing development for all employees.
  • Define, implement and follow-up the annual training program.
  • Use appropriate resourcing strategies and tools to ensure the effective attraction of high-quality, participate in interviews. Onboard new hires in partnership with hiring managers & TA team.
  • Collaboration with the Reward team to ensure all reward and benefits processes are effectively managed and integrated into the global reward framework (including benchmarking, merit and incentive schemes, benefit contract renewals).
  • Support managers in driving employee engagement.
  • Responsible for driving the Inclusion & Diversity program in alignment with global.
  • Provide a customer-focused and professional generalist HR administration service across region.
What skills and experience should you have?

We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who values business partnership and a positive approach to business challenges and employee queries.

Other knowledge, skills and abilities essential to excel in this role include:
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and data and proactively recommend and implement practical solutions within a complex commercial environment.
  • Strong data analysis/numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Team player with a very flexible attitude and approach.
  • Knowledge of various HR fields and HR systems an advantage.
  • High standard of both verbal and written English communication
  • Minimum 5 years\' previous experience
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a high workload with conflicting priorities, gained within a fast-paced and challenging commercial environment.
  • Good knowledge of local employment/labour laws
