Core Hours:
Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm (would consider reduced hours - minimum 30 hours a week)
Salary:
35,000 - 45,000 per year Pro rata (dependant on experience)

We are seeking an experienced and engaged
HR Business Partner
to join our team on a fixed term contract. This is a Maternity cover role for a period of 9 - 12 months.

About the role:
The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing professional HR advice, support and guidance in employee relations matters. This role has a strong emphasis on building relationships with the management team and being a trusted advisor of all employee relations matters and being a subject matter expert on internal policies and procedures.
Our HR Business Partner has a strong presence within the organisation and this is a highly visible role across the organisation.
Working within the Senior Management team, the HR Business Partner will work alongside the existing workforce to continue to support the business in developing confident people managers, as well as raising the profile of the department as subject matter expert on employee relations, advice on policy and procedure, legislation and change management.
Overview of the Role:
Remain up to date with external HR trends and legislative changes, sharing relevant learnings with the wider team
Plan, organise and facilitate appropriate HR interventions where there is evidence of dysfunctional or ineffective teams or individual staff. Facilitate workplace mediation for appropriate scenarios, resolving matters before formal action is needed.
Support on change management processes
Ensure compliance with all employee documentation, including contracts and right-to-work checks
Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, working closely with the management team to support the achievement of business goals
Conduct workplace investigations as required in line with company policies and procedures and best practices
Implementation of planned strategy in specific areas of the HR Function
Demonstrates behaviours & practices which are aligned with achieving organisational objectives and creating a working environment which inspires, motivates and retains
Contributing at all times to consistency of approach within the team, with regards to legislative requirements in relation to contracts, working arrangements, policy formation and implementation of terms and conditions
Provide advice and guidance to managers on the application of core HR policies and procedures, including performance and absence management, and development planning.
Ensure the full life cycle of employee experience is representative of the Company's culture
Responsibility for the HR Functions
Skills and Experience:
Minium CIPD Level 5 qualification ideally.
Proven experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure to both operational and strategic HR activities.
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Experience managing end to end employee lifecycle processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
Confident in handling sensitive HR issues, including employee relations matters
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HR systems/portals.
Able to work autonomously and use sound judgment to make decisions or escalate issues where appropriate.
A proactive, approachable team player who contributes to a positive and professional work environment.
