An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated HR Business Partner to join Llamau's HR Team.
The HR Business Partner will advise on a range of HR related queries from managers and colleagues within Llamau and to ensure that an effective, customer focused service is provided which adheres to our policies, employment legislation and good practice.
You will manage employee relations casework in your own areas. This includes supporting investigations, hearings and grievances, TUPE or other consultations with individuals or teams etc.
You will play a pivotal role in improving how we recruit, develop and retain colleagues at Llamau, taking a lead on planning recruitment events and delivering internal HR-related training for managers.
You will support the HR Director in progressing a range of HR related projects, strategic objectives, and cultural change initiatives, leading on projects as required.
With the Compassionate Leadership and HR Plan as the overarching frameworks, you will be a trusted business partner, working closely with our heads of department and managers to support our teams through all stages of the employee lifecycle, and to utilise appropriate people interventions to enable them to deliver our services effectively.
The role will support the following Llamau services or areas and will be expected to travel to those areas as required: Young People Services in Cardiff and South East Wales and Llamau's Domestic Abuse and Gender Specific Services across South Wales.
At Llamau we believe that no young person or vulnerable woman should ever have to experience homelessness. Our mission is to eradicate homelessness for young people and vulnerable women. But for thousands of the most vulnerable people in Wales, homelessness is a frightening reality.
30 years ago Llamau was founded to provide homeless teenagers with a safe place to stay. Since then, we have supported over 67,000 young people, women and their children who are either homeless or facing homelessness.
Many people think the job of a homelessness charity will be to provide accommodation - a safe place to stay. But it is very clear to us that for most people who are facing homelessness, their problems are far more complex than a lack of permanent shelter.
That's why we treat everyone who needs our support as an individual. We recognise their unique strengths and needs and make sure that they are supported to rebuild their futures.
