Senior HR Business Partner - Mileway - Amsterdam





Mileway is looking to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner to join the team and help drive our people strategy to the next level. The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic advisor to members of the leadership team and people managers, providing expert HR guidance and support to align business objectives with employee performance and development. Together with Mileway's Lead HR Business Partner and the Business Partner team, the Senior HR Business Partner will develop HR strategies that support the organization's goals, enhance employee engagement, and foster a positive workplace culture.



This role will focus on supporting our UK, France, Spain, and Italy markets, with a primary emphasis on the UK, delivering best-in-class HR business partnering that drives value, supports growth, and helps shape a proactive, future-ready HRBP function at the heart of our thriving business.

What you'll do


Partner with senior leaders across our European offices to design and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and drive performance. Act as a trusted advisor to managers and team members on HR topics including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational design. Lead and execute key HR initiatives and projects that support strategic objectives. Coach managers on leadership, team dynamics, and employee development to build effective teams. Champion employee engagement efforts through surveys, feedback channels, and resulting action plans. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and proactively address HR-related risks. Support change management efforts and organizational transformation initiatives. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence--including Learning & Development, Compensation and Benefits, and HR Operations--to deliver comprehensive HR support. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and programs in partnership with the wider HR team.



What you'll bring


A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 8-10 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a strategic HR Business Partner role. Strong business insight with the ability to align HR practices to business needs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at various levels. A proven track record of successfully managing HR projects and initiatives. Solid knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with sound judgment in sensitive matters. A high degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Fluency in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
